Which appliance should I buy?

The type of filter you would like to purchase, whether it be counter top or under counter is determined by current technical conditions, kitchen space and most important, personal tastes and attitude. The filter capacity is identical for both counter top or under counter appliances.

Counter Top appliances (CT)

Certain aspects are to be respected in view of Counter Top appliances.  It is absolutely necessary to ensure that no form of low pressure accumulator is installed upstream (in front of appliance), as this could cause the accumulator to explode. In cases where low pressure accumulators are already in place, the alternative method is to install an under counter appliance. As the Counter Top appliance is transportable, it is very useful for journeys made by car. For travel by airplane (due to weight) we recommend our Travel Filter TRAVEL which comes with various adaptors; having a slightly lower capacity compared to the normal counter top appliances.

Under Counter appliances (UC)

These appliances offer the highest comfort. The filter is hidden under the sink in the cupboard.  It does not take away useful space needed on the kitchen counter and the only indication that there is a water filter is the elegantly formed additional water outlet faucet or a special faucet with split faucet system for filtered and unfiltered mains water. The various possibilities – determined by style, taste and budget – can be found in our Website Shop under Fittings/Fixtures.

Complete cold water filtering is also an option. In this case the cold water is filtered in the sink unit and the already installed fixtures (faucet) can be used.  This option is only advisable when new and high quality fittings without perlator piping are installed.
