Osmosis systems filter nearly all properties out of water, through a special form of
technology; a micro fine membrane. Thereby for example, removing bad substances as well
as minerals. It is also ideal in reducing limescale (calcium carbonate).

This technology is recommende for „unreliable“ water sources such as:
- private springs / fountains / water wells having high iron or manganese content
- increased nitrate contamination in tap water or water wells
- Sea water desalting
- high calcium carbonate content

It is important to be aware of the following when considering osmosis systems; the water
tank of the filtered water is absolutely free of germs or the water can be immediately
accessed. Many of the systems on the market do not fulfill these requirements and germ
contamination quickly evolves.

With the Quick-Change-Osmosis system from Sanquell we have successfully and uniquely
taken innovative steps, by use of a completely new technology system. This has resulted in a
new generation of osmosis systems, thereby revolutionizing a practically unchanged system
concepts of over a decade.

Essentially the main factors were the simplification of filter change and a major reduction
of germ contamination after water filtration has taken place.

Unlike most of the normal systems the quick change osmosis system is considerably smaller
and thereby saves space as the water tank is integrated.

The water goes through the following stages in the quick change osmosis system:
1. Pre-filter: consisting of carbon block 3 μm Filtration fineness (charcoal block)
2. Sterile filter: membrane technology 0,1 μm Filtration fineness - NSF certified
3. Membrane: osmosis membrane Type 50 GPD - NSF/ANSI certified No. 58 and No. 61
4. Sterile filter: membrane technology 0,1 μm Filtration fineness - NSF certified

The 4th sterile filter is implemented after the storage tank and serves in this position as an
additional hindrance through recontamination when water is drawn from the outlet tap.
